What to think of this photo...

Stuart Larkin: My mom said it's okay to talk to lesbians because they take good care of their cats and have a can-do attitude.

I recently found out that my friend Amy here has a strange affection for cats. Its just good to know that Stuart's Mom was right on the money.

It's weird this affection though. It reminds me somewhat of the "bird lady" in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. I can see it now, Home Alone 579: Lost in P-Town. Kevin's family tries to take a getaway to charming Cape Cod. Kevin is driving in his beat up 1982 Rusty Brown Chevette and following his parents to Hyannis and they find themselves in a HORRIBLE monsoon (because we know that New England gets so many of those). It's so bad that Kevin and his parents have to pull over and wait for the rain to subside. Waiting... Waiting... Waiting... some funny banter between Kevin and his big redneck bro Buzz (beat that trout sniffer). Eventually the weather calms just enough to get going again. However, as the luck of a draw, a car which happens to be the exact same make and model as the good ol' McCallister's goes flying by chock full of 4 happy lesbians and their dogs. However, because of the rain, Kevin doesn't notice who's inside (or the license plate apparently... he's probably too caught up in his car dance to Michael Jackson's "Black of White" and he continues to follow them. Soon after, Kevin finds himself driving into a flurry of happy rainbow flags EVERYWHERE!

Not long after parking does Kevin park and find himself a tad frightened of the crazy cat lady (enter Amy). As Amy moseys down the beach followed by all of her 900 cats, she randomly picks one up to check the status of it's KLA (more commonly known as Kitty Litter Ass), similar to the picture seen here. Amy takes her job of making sure her cats smell 100% kitty litter free, VERY SERIOUSLY. After some time passes, a few good Indigo Girls and Melissa Etheridge songs subside and a life altering experience (whatever that may be... remember they're in P-Town), Kevin finds himself compassionate for the Crazy Cat Lady and befriends her. She introduces him to all of her wonderful cats and her butch drag king friends and he gives her a friendship rainbow ring to always remember him by.

And... scene.

So remember folks, make sure your cat doesn't have KLA or that you live in a well ventilated area because if not, you could very well turn into someone like Amy here, but then again, in the end you'd get a Man-Child for a friend who always has season passes to Neverland... hmmm... maybe it's something to really think about.

smells good
