Happiness
I just want to write this quick blog to talk about happiness in my life and all that I'm surrounded by.
The best birthday present I could have ever gotten is to see all the people in my life that I care about happy. I saw happiness when Brie got to watch me open my gifts and see how much I loved them. I saw happiness as Brie, Amy and Pam watched me bit the crap out of a Spongebob pinata. I saw the happiness that Amy and Pam bring each other and I know the happiness that Brie and I bring to each other's lives. I think what fills me with the joy the most was what I witnessed last night. A good friend has been in pain lately and it was the type that kills me because I know there is nothing I can do to alleviate it at all. On my nightly stroll through the blogs I read, I came upon some pictures that exuded PURE happiness. To know that this friend who was once in pain was profoundly happy lifted my heart like I can't explain. So to this friend I say, "you have no idea what it means to me to see you in so much pain just a couple of weeks ago as you sat here on my couch, and to know see you so overjoyed because of one person. It has given me a new perspective on words, because I know that it is on words which your foundation with this person is based." And to the person that is the source of my friend's happiness, I say "thank you for being such a wonderful person and for having the ability to have such a profound impact on a person."
That's all I have for now. Time for work!

I'm lying here with Laura now. We both appreciated your posting! I thank you once again for being such a supportive friend. You are so open and easy to talk with and I feel lucky to know you. I hope I will be seeing you and your lady at Lucy. Maybe you guys could even meet us for the festival of lights...
